Farr West City Public Meeting Rules of Order & Procedure
- Meetings will be conducted using Roberts Rules of Order as modified by the Chair of the meeting.
- Meetings will begin with an opening ceremony organized by the Chair of the meeting.
- Public comments shall be permitted as indicated on the meeting agenda.
- Public comments may be allowed for individual agenda items at the discretion of the person conducting the meeting.
- Public comment may be time limited at the discretion of the person conducting the meeting.
- Those desiring to make public comment shall approach the podium in an orderly fashion after the person conducting the meeting opens the meeting to public comment, or requests public comment on a specific agenda item. Public comment may be made after a member of the public is recognized by the person conducting the meeting. Outbursts from the audience are not allowed, and will not be considered in city decisions.
